Venue seeks your participation in an upcoming collaboration with San
Francisco-based artist Chris Basmajian for a project titled "Moment
Magnitude." For this project, Basmajian is creating a guerrilla street
projection that will be displayed along Mandela Parkway in West Oakland
on October 17, to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the Loma Prieta
Earthquake. Please submit your recollections of that day for inclusion in this project--submissions may be submitted via email, on Facebook, or on Twitter. Submissions must not exceed 140 characters in any format (about two sentences). Recollections may include first-hand accounts
and second-hand stories from those who heard about it, saw it on
television, or have heard stories since then. Contributors will be
noted or kept anonymous upon request.
Deadline for submissions Thursday, September 17.
